Frost, Robert
Henry Holt, New York.
1916
First Edition. First state with line doubled on page 88 and ‘Come’ for ‘Gone’ on page 93.
Spine ends and board corners rubbed. Very Good with bookplate of noted Boston area architect Robert Coit (1861-1942) to front pastedown. Coit also affixed an original poem to the rear pastedown. The poem is called Christmas Trees and is dated December 25th, 1916. It is perhaps inspired by Frost’s second poem in Mountain Interval (pg. 11) also titled Christmas Trees.
